I have recently posted something on the game dev forum asking for the best software to make games for Newgrounds in and getting started for game dev. I'm not 100% confident with code but I am willing to learn it. I'm thinking of starting with games on here so I can get some constructive feedback to help build on bigger ideas. Starting with a wacky idea with a small group of friends called Yonson's Howse Party

A first-person point and click thriller about a party planner who was hired by accident to make Yonson's housewarming birthday party happen! But a secret eldritch cult is hiding from plain sight that the host doesn't want you to know about, what will Yu do in that situation?

Just now as of writing this, Ozzy has passed away and I'm listening to one of my favourite songs of his. Diary of a Madman. First time seeing him was when I watched Austin Powers and when he voiced a deer in Gnomeo & Juliet. I didn't hear his music much then until I heard him in Brutal Legend as the guardian of Metal. That game made me want to pursue game development and listen to more of his music which I'm glad I did because I have been obsessed ever since.

Although, I did hear one of his songs from Black Sabbath in the Angry Birds Movie "Paranoid." I still didn't really recognise the impact and legacy he carried till recently after playing Brutal Legend. Ever since then, I fell in love with his music and how funny he was. He just had a way to cheer you up.

I do hope that Sharon and the kids are coping well and that especially outside the metal community can take a moment to appreciate what a true rockstar he is. YungBlud is the new heir to his throne and may he continue the ongoing legacy!

Rest in peace Ozzy and enjoy your final destination from the crazy train.

I have sorted out the Double Fine Spreadsheet and have changed my mind about costume quest. I felt like 4 IPs were better. Speaking of, all but Day of the tentacle have 25 characters each and I had an idea.

Most art collabs I've seen tend to focus on 2D art but I thought of mixing the mediums up a bit and have 3D artist get involved would be interesting. And why not have the collab deadline be the anniversary of Brutal Legend, October 13th !!! That game is very special to me and I thought of making a collab for the mastermind behind it. Speaking of Tim, he's an artist option too!

Anyway, it's too sudden to hear and there's 80 choices so I wait till next year to plan this out then we're golden. If anyone is pumped for this, let me know and have a good one! :D

So I just started a spreadsheet for a collab relating to Brutal Legend and Double Fine Productions and I stopped because I didn't know how many characters I wanted to put in. The games I want to include are Brutal Legend, Grim Fandango, PsychoNaughts, Costume Quest and Day of the Tentacle since those are games I know more about and have played before but there are so many characters that I couldn't pick who to keep and what not to include.

I'm keeping the main ones for sure but if there's any side / background characters that you like then definitely let me know! You can tell me here or PM, up to you. But it's not going "Full Throttle" yet and I just started this list so any help is appreciated!

I have been procrastinating on digital drawing lately and I want to go back to it. Main reason was a problem with my pc and the Wi-Fi wasn't in range and it accidently fell so it worked when it was back in place so I can do more digital drawing now! Sorry for not saying anything till now, I've just gotten lazy and now I'm back and hopefully be more ready to post. Any art tips you would like to share with me then that would be great! :D

I havent been able to post much art because my pc keeps acting up and I haven’t been able to connect to my wifi so I couldn’t post my art on here. Don’t how long it’s going to take but that’s why I haven’t posted anything yet.

The collab is finally here!!! I had a lot of fun working on my Pink Spikes piece and seeing it in the front page with other much more talented artists is insane! As soon as I got on NewGrounds I recieved 101 notifications on this collab and it's the first ever collab I participated in. Also seeing my piece on the slideshow was so unreal and I couldn't be more thankful.

That's all I have to say, happy Anniversary to Sonic and have a good one! :D

As I'm writing this, I have finished the yellow Gubbin piece which I actually like. The gesture and composition was alright and definitely enjoyed the screen tone effect with that piece. Now onto the main thing!

There is one idea to do with what do do with the red Gubbin by VekoN which is to give it horns and make it furious which I like but I want to explore some more ideas from outside sources and see where the red concept can go. Bare in mind, that gubbins are a very abstract kind of creature and they have no limits to what features or personalities they have. Only rule is to make with one colour and be as wacky and simplistic as you can.

For references, I tend to look at the Flanimals or Ed roth's artwork and claymation. Those are their aesthetic and also forgot to include the old Pepperami commercials as well because the gubbins are very violent and chaotic beings while having the occasional pacifist or just cheeky. So feel free to share your idea for the red gubbin's schtick here! :D

Last year I did a collection of 6 monochromatic pieces last June and I am now going to make it a tradition on my profile where I do six pieces with one colour each and do a random theme with it. Last year didn't have one so this year is going to be an exploration of a new creature concept I've been thinking about called the Gubbins. What are they?

They are simple monochrome characters that have a exaggerated trait, physical or personality wise. At first they were just gremlins and goblins but after searching for a name, I came up with Gubbins. I based them heavily on Flanimals, the cloud guys from Rejected, Swarm (Xbox 360), Ed Roth, Happy Tree Friends, Sr Pelo's art, Cyriak's Meow, Meeseeks and claymation characters like Morph or Gumby.

If you have any ideas for the Red, yellow and orange gubbins, do let me know! I won't post art till the month is over after they're done so it makes a rainbow for the rest of the month. :D
